Big recap of the Indiana General Assembly active bills. Legislation regarding the Libertarian Party ballot access has been defeated. Henry County Council President Susan Huhn testified before the Utilities committee regarding a bill that would substantially change home rule and the authority of planning commissions. The local police department is getting plate readers that will observe everyone as they come and go in town…What could possibly go wrong?

Finally – The Henry County Commissioners have been found in violation of open door laws for making a change in county attorney in private phone calls instead of at public meetings.
