The left Libertarians are mad Jo Jorgensen went on Ben Shapiro, one of the biggest talk radio shows in the country. Last week the right Libertarians were pissed off. With all due respect to these wings, appealing to the worst of the dying two parties with messaging that America has already rejected is a foolish strategy. I’m not interested in doing this to grow your club. I want to spread the liberating idea that each of us can seek prosperity, harmony, and justice in a less divisive and nonviolent way.
Libertarianism is the only political ideology that won’t force others to participate in world views they reject. We should keep that offer front and center.
Exit polling consistently shows that Libertarian voters are not R or D voters. They’re new or re-activated voters that feel they’ve finally found representation. These numbers also disprove the “stolen vote theory.”
Appearances on shows like this are to identify those people and not to win over Republicans that will end up “going home” on Election Day. (That’s why polls show high numbers for L candidates and then sink on Election Day. Voters don’t have the courage to actually make a change.)
