The WAL Radio Network brings you podcasts about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We present political points of view from the libertarian, conservative, liberal, progressive, centrist, and anarchist point of view. As you listen, you’ll find something surprising: We share many of the same values and some of the same policies, as well as a desire for what is best for the people of the United States of America.
Our goal is to bring you podcasts that entertain and inform with a high standard of quality. The network was launched in 2013 by Chris Spangle, and is based in Indianapolis, IN.

The mission of We Are Libertarians is to examine current events and politics from a broad range of libertarian viewpoints by a group of Hoosier millennials.
We Are Libertarians was founded in 2012 as a weekly podcast from Chris Spangle, Chris Gault, and Creighton Harrington covering national and Indiana politics from libertarian point of view. In 2013, We Are Libertarians expanded to a daily news site that provides commentary, news, and resources for the libertarian movement. Joe Ruiz, Greg Lenz, and Perry Sheetz were added as regular contributors at that time.
The contributors at We Are Libertarians represent the broad spectrum of viewpoints within the Libertarian philosophy to bring the reader a balanced (and occasionally irreverent) look at the world. As long as it fits within the basic principles of libertarianism we want to share it, and let you sort out what you believe. Five of the six contributors are under the age of 30, so the site is uniquely positioned to express the libertarian millennial’s vision of the future. Despite this youth, our contributors bring a combined 30 years experience of political activism, state party leadership, campaign leadership, issue activism, and journalism.
Chris Spangle, Creighton Harrington, Greg Lenz, and Gena Martinez examine the week’s current events and politics from a range of libertarian viewpoints. Think of it as the libertarian Meet the Press, only with a personality.
Jeremiah is becoming Miah. A lot of mystery and questions surround a person’s transition from male to female or vice versa. We ask all of them to try and reach a better understanding of this community. Send questions to host Chris Spangle at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Miah Akston, co-host Josh Featherstone, and her friends are Uncontrollable as they bring listeners unpredictable political perspectives from a range of views Tuesday’s from 7-8p on Indiana Talks. Miah is a transgender, voluntaryist, small business owner, and veteran. It just gets weirder from there…
Ryan Ripley hosts a weekly discussion with Chris Spangle and Joe Ruiz. We discuss the world of media and journalism from a libertarian perspective, with the mission of persuading listeners to think critically about the media they consume. We also interview libertarian media figures to shed light on how media works in the 21st century.
We also post all of our show notes in the episode, and a few days after, Page 2 brings you additional Media Watch stories we couldn’t fit in the show to give you all the news you need to know about the fourth estate. View all of the past shows and stories here.

I (Chris Spangle) recently discovered two years worth of podcasts from Newstalk 1430 WXNT-AM, Indianapolis. The podcasts span from 2007 to 2008, my time as the producer of Abdul in the Morning. Abdul-Hakim Shabazz and I were at the center of two major years in Indiana and Indianapolis politics, and we covered every inch of it. I think this is a fun snapshot of the city’s story. I hope Entercom doesn’t mind me sharing these. If they do, it would be the first time they actually cared about the signal.
